Vanessa Gendron is a versatile artist based in Prague.

Founder and Artistic Director of Azyzah Theatre, she creates original shows currently touring theatres and schools around Europe and Canada. She has adapted her scripts into an interactive children's book series called the adventures of Kiki & Mr.Suits where she features her illustrations and writing. She collaborates on original site specific performances with diverse artists under her Lavu site specific theatre company since 2014. Exploring political themed topics combining dance, music, song video and photography to create with a diverse array of artists.(Past Performances include: Sacrifices, Cutting into Dog, Dance Dadaiste, Mirror Stage Desires, Le Clown en Renaissance, Sacrifices, Cutting into dog, Inner Witch. She curated the Swan Festival for 5 years.

Artistic director of the Dr.Klaun project for 7 years, she continues to explore clowning in hospitals and in her artistic work.

Her humanistic approach fusions the gift of giving through play and has inspired her to venture into the world of therapy where she is able to combine psychology and all art forms.Owner of Play Therapy Prague, she offers non-directive and directive client centred services for children with her therapeutic dog Coco Disco.She collaborates with on a multitude of projects as an artistacross Europe and Canada.
